Site Manager
We are a specialist civil engineering contractor dedicated to repairing, strengthening, and waterproofing concrete and steel structures across the UK. Our expertise covers bridge deck waterproofing, expansion joints, concrete repair and cathodic protection, steel repair and strengthening, carbon fibre solutions, temporary works, jacking and bearing replacement. We also deliver lightweight decking, access systems, and major bridge and cable refurbishment projects.
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee works on the Tay Road Bridge in Dundee. The Site Manager plays a key role in delivering the project successfully, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards, while meeting programme and budget expectations.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver works safely in accordance with company and legislative requirements.

Ensure full understanding of all project objectives.

Build, develop, and lead the site team effectively.

Maintain strong working relationships with clients and external stakeholders.
*
Develop the Tender Programme into a detailed construction programme within four weeks of project award.
*
Monitor site progress to ensure timely achievement of critical targets.
*
Prepare, manage, and update the Site Management Plan.
*
Identify and manage project risks, maintaining a current Risk Register.
*
Control project scope, change management, and resource allocation.
*
Oversee performance against cost plans, programmes, and quality/environmental standards.
*
Manage stakeholder communication and engagement.
*
Support and nurture subcontractor relationships.
*
Coordinate and manage design integration and implementation.
