Pipefitter

We are looking for a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. The role will primarily involve snagging and installation work on district heating networks across Cardiff, with occasionally working away required (accommodation provided). The ideal candidate will have strong pipefitting experience, be confident in reading and interpreting technical drawings, and possess solid mechanical knowledge.

Duties

* Carry out snagging and installation of district heating pipework to specification

* Assemble and fit piping systems in line with technical drawings

* Undertake maintenance and repair tasks on existing systems when required

* Use hand tools and power tools effectively and safely

* Ensure accurate measurements and calculations during installations

* Work closely with other trades to complete projects on time

* Maintain high standards of safety and quality at all times

Requirements

* Proven experience in pipefitting or a related trade

* Strong mechanical knowledge with problem-solving ability

* Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings

* Confident using a variety of hand and power tools

* Basic plumbing knowledge beneficial

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

* Flexibility to travel and work away when required (accommodation provided)
