Time 4 Recruitment has a great opportunity for a Temporary Site Manager to work for a main contractor in Cornwall – for 12 months works with the potential to continue for the right candidate.

As Site Manager you will be working with a market leading contractor who design and build, construct, refurbish and repurpose buildings across England, Scotland and Wales – working on hospitals, schools and universities –

As Temporary Site Manager you will be joining a highly successful team in the construction of a £55m projects consisting of two RC frame multi storey buildings on a live project. The new buildings consist of RC concrete frame construction, masonry and a built-up cladding system on an SFS frame, with curtain walling & windows, a flat roofing system and internal partitions and finishes.

Essential Certificates for this role:

SMSTS, CSCS Card (Manager card required), Asbestos awareness, First Aid at Work, Enhanced DBS check, Basic/Advanced Scaffold Inspection, Temporary Works, Knowledge of Building Regulations and The Building Safety Act

As Site Manager it is vital you have a proven track record of supporting the construction and completion of similar projects, on time and on budget, reporting to the Project Manager, the role will include the following duties:

* Follow the Construction Phase Plan (Project Management Plan), including all site procedures and practices and completing records and documentation.

* Ensuring compliance with the health and safety Management Plan and the Operating Procedures.

* Ensuring the construction environmental procedures are implemented on site.

* Keeping a site diary including records of subcontractor attendance and progress.

* Ensuring that appropriate quality records are being produced and monitored to verify that the works are being completed in accordance with the specified requirements

* Managing direct and subcontract labour and the keeping of records and allocation sheets.

* Advising on buildability issues as required.

* Setting up and monitor handover schedules, keys, spares and completion documentation.

Benefits:

* Day rate £300 to £325 per day

* To start November 2025

* Up to 12 months work but could continue long term
