IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Day Rate: Competitive (dependent on experience)
Project Overview:
Join a leading design consultancy as a Quantity Surveyor on a £60m airport infrastructure upgrade. The project includes terminal enhancements, airside improvements, and sustainability-driven upgrades. You'll be embedded within the principal consultant's team, supporting cost management across all phases of the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide full pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying services.
Prepare cost plans, estimates, and tender documentation.
Manage procurement processes and contract administration (NEC or JCT).
Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.
Conduct valuations, variations, and final account settlements.
Liaise with client, design teams, and contractors to ensure cost-effective delivery.
Support risk and value management exercises.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.Requirements:
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
MRICS or working towards chartership (preferred).
Proven experience on infrastructure or aviation projects.
Strong understanding of NEC3/4 or JCT contracts.
Excellent stakeholder communication and reporting skills.
Proficient in cost management software (e.g. CostX, CATO, Excel).
Eligible to work in the UK and operate inside IR35.Desirable:
Experience working with principal consultants or multidisciplinary design teams.
Familiarity with airport operational constraints and safety protocols.
