About the Role
We are currently seeking a high-calibre Associate-level or above Electrical Engineer to join our team in Bradford. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality electrical building services design within a mainstream UK design consultancy environment.
This is a key technical and leadership position offering the opportunity to play a pivotal role in the design, management, and delivery of a diverse range of building services projects.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the electrical design and coordination of building services projects across various sectors.

Manage project delivery from concept through to completion, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with relevant standards.
*
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate engineers.
*
Liaise effectively with clients, architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders.
*
Contribute to business development, bid preparation, and client relationship management.
*
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Requirements
*
Minimum 10 years’ experience working full-time in a mainstream UK building services design consultancy.
*
Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
*
Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards chartership (e.g., with the IET or CIBSE) preferred.
*
Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems design including LV distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and data systems.
*
Proficient in relevant design software (e.g., Amtech, Dialux/Relux, Revit MEP, AutoCAD).
*
Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
*
Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
