Overview
A Tier 1 main contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor on a freelance basis to support ongoing industrial/logistics developments in the South West.
This role suits a commercially strong SQS with a proven record managing complex build packages within a main contracting environment.
Key Responsibilities
*
Full commercial control from procurement through to final account
*
Subcontract management, valuations, variations, and cost reporting (CVRs)
*
Accurate forecasting, change control, and commercial risk management
*
Liaising with project, design, and client teams to drive financial performance
Requirements
*
Solid background with UK main contractors
*
Excellent commercial awareness and cost reporting skills
*
Previous experience of Commercial Lead essential.
*
JCT contract experience essential
*
Industrial or logistics experience advantageous but not essential
