About the Company

Our client is a well-established main contractor with a strong portfolio of Design & Build and new build projects across the South East. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality schemes across commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team near Uxbridge.

The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of commercial and financial management across multiple projects, ensuring cost efficiency and profitability while maintaining the highest standards of delivery. You will work closely with the project team from tender through to final account, supporting Design & Build processes and managing all aspects of the build’s financial control.

Key Responsibilities

Managing all commercial aspects of projects from inception to completion.

Preparing tender and contract documents, bills of quantities, and procurement schedules.

*

Valuations, cost forecasting, and reporting.

*

Managing subcontractor procurement and payments.

*

Working closely with design and delivery teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.

*

Supporting the Project Manager in value engineering and contract administration.

*

Ensuring compliance with contractual and financial obligations.

Requirements

*

Proven experience working with a main contractor on Design & Build and new build projects.

*

Degree qualified (BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent).

*

Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

*

Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

*

Able to work independently and manage multiple projects.

*

Ideally located within easy reach of Uxbridge / West London.
