Tier 1 Commercial Fit Out (City of London)
£300–£400 per day DOE | ASAPStart | 3-Month Initial Contract (Likely Extension)
We are working with a leading Tier 1 fit out contractor delivering a high-profile £6MN commercial office scheme in the City and require a Freelance Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial function on live works.
This role will be focused on managing change, ensuring robust commercial governance, and supporting the project team on fast-moving packages in a live environment. The ideal candidate will be confident operating autonomously and used to the pace and expectations of a top-tier delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing variations and change control across M&E and build packages
* Cost reporting, forecasting and commercial tracking
* Subcontractor management, applications and valuations
* Commercial support to project and delivery teams
* Preparation towards final accounts
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in Cat A / Cat B commercial fit out
* Background with a Tier 1 contractor or leading fit out specialist
* Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage change effectively
* Able to integrate quickly into a live team and hit the ground running
* Available to start at short notice
