HGV Driver

Location: Barrow-in-Furness
Hours: Monday – Friday, usually 06:30–17:00 (occasional overtime) – Not set in stone.
Contract: Ongoing / Long-term

Description:
We’re looking for a reliable and experienced HGV Driver for long-term work in the Barrow area. The role involves operating HGV vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all driving, safety, and company procedures.

Requirements:

Valid UK HGV Licence (Class 2 / Category C)

*

Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

*

Previous tipper driving experience preferred

*

Strong understanding of Working Time Directive and Drivers’ Hours Regulations

*

Must complete daily vehicle walkaround checks and defect reports

*

Reliable, professional, and customer-focused attitude

*

Must complete licence check, Right to Work declaration, and pre-employment forms before starting

*

Willing to complete online training as part of ongoing company compliance requirements (FORS Bronze preparation)
