Skilled Operatives – Bridgewater (South West Region)
We are on the lookout for Skilled Operatives to join a multi-disciplinary civil engineering team based in Bridgwater. This role will predominantly cover projects across the South West, with occasional flexibility required for working away from home.

Key Responsibilities

Work safely, following all relevant procedures and instructions.
*
Use tools, machinery, and equipment responsibly and correctly.
*
Support and take direction from the Site Supervisor or General Foreman.
*
Carry out manual labour, including loading/unloading vehicles, cleaning, maintenance, digging, lifting, and other relevant trade work.
*
Correctly use and maintain PPE, requesting replacements or improvements where necessary.
*
Ensure all vehicles, tools, and plant equipment are fit for use and report defects promptly.
*
Communicate with the Site Supervisor or Foreman on safety and work practices.
*
Mentor General Operatives and junior staff.
*
Attend work promptly and fully equipped for the role.
