Location: Kettering
Due to the successful securing of several new projects in the Kettering area, our client is currently seeking experienced Mechanical Foremen to take a crucial role in the successful delivery of these works. This position requires strong leadership and hands-on site management expertise.

🔑 Core Duties and Responsibilities
The successful Mechanical Foreman will be responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of the mechanical installation works on site:
Site Management: Directly oversee and coordinate the mechanical installation teams and tradespeople on site.
Quality & Compliance: Ensure that all work carried out adheres strictly to the project specifications, drawings, and relevant UK building regulations.
Coordination: Maintain effective communication with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth, timely project delivery.
Performance Monitoring: Track and report on site progress, manage team productivity, and rigorously monitor the quality of the workmanship.
Safety Leadership: Conduct necessary daily team briefings and 'toolbox talks' to enforce strict adherence to all site health and safety protocols.
Resource Management: Effectively manage and control materials, tools, and plant equipment allocated to the site.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of completed tasks, labour hours, and any on-site issues or discrepancies.
Issue Resolution: Provide immediate assistance in resolving technical challenges or coordination conflicts that arise during the installation process.
🎓 Qualifications and Experience
Must be a fully qualified plumber or mechanical craftsperson with all relevant industry certifications (e.g., CSCS Card, Manual Handling).
A minimum of five years' experience in mechanical installation, including at least two years operating in a supervisory or foreman capacity.
Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC, pipework, plumbing, and associated mechanical systems.
Proven ability to accurately read and interpret complex mechanical drawings and schematics.
Possesses excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Prior experience working on complex commercial, industrial, or data centre projects is a distinct advantage.
Possession of a full, clean UK driving licence is desirable.
