Location: London (Old Street) – Hybrid working option
Salary: £40,000-£50,000

A progressive, multidisciplinary property consultancy is seeking an Intermediate Building Surveyor to join its London office. The practice delivers high-quality property solutions across residential, commercial, healthcare, and education sectors, with projects spanning surveys, feasibility assessments, and site investigations.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct building surveys with a focus on damp, mould, and condensation issues
Carry out feasibility assessments and prepare reports to support client decision-making
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver practical, high-quality outcomes
Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance, quality, and timelines are met
Support junior team members and contribute to the growth of the surveying team

Candidate Requirements

Minimum 3 years' experience in building surveying
Strong understanding of damp & mould diagnostics and feasibility studies
Experience across residential, healthcare, and education projects would be highly beneficial
Degree in Building Surveying (or equivalent)
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively
Committed to professional growth and working towards chartered status (full RICS/CIOB support provided)
Willingness to travel to sites within London and surrounding areas
Full UK driving licence preferred
