The Role
Due to sustained growth and an expanding portfolio, our client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic commercial team.
You will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, manage, and monitor project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts
* Conduct tender analysis, procurement, and subcontractor management
* Evaluate and manage variations, valuations, and final accounts
* Prepare monthly cost reports and provide accurate financial updates to senior management
* Work collaboratively with site teams, clients, and design consultants to resolve issues and deliver value-engineered solutions
* Ensure compliance with company standards, Health & Safety, and contractual obligations
* Support the delivery of both residential and commercial schemes, as well as external works and multi-utility services
About You
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry (residential or commercial)
* Strong understanding of JCT and other standard forms of contract
* Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
* A proactive and collaborative approach to working with clients, contractors, and internal teams
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (preferred)
* Membership of RICS or working towards accreditation (desirable)
