General Foreman

My client are a regional civil engineering business. They are looking to onboard a general foreman to help deliver a highway and road widening scheme in Derby. The scope of works you will be managing will include drainage, kerbs, buried services and resurfacing works.

General foreman responsibilities:

* Working alongside and reporting to the works manager.

* Putting labour to work.

* Daily briefings.

* Record keeping.

* Managing health and safety compliance.

* Material calls off.

* Liaising with the client, subcontractors and key stakeholders.

General foreman requirements:

* Right to work in the UK.

* NVQ level 3 or equivalent.

* CSCS card.

* SSSTS/ SMSTS.

* First aid.

* EUSR 1 &2 – Desirable.

* Previous experience with highways, 278 works or roads.

* Full UK driving licence.
