Senior Quantity Surveyor

We’re seeking an experienced Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team delivering a £8m commercial new build and refurbishment project in Slough. Working directly with the main contractor, you’ll take a leading role in the commercial management of the scheme from procurement through to final account.

The Role

* Managing all commercial and contractual aspects of the project

* Overseeing subcontract procurement, payments, and variations

* Preparing valuations, cost reports, and forecasts

* Managing change control and ensuring accurate project reporting

* Liaising closely with site teams, clients, and supply chain partners

* Supporting project delivery to time, quality, and cost expectations

About You

* Minimum 8+ years’ experience in Quantity Surveying within main contracting

* Proven track record on commercial new build/refurbishment projects up to £10m+

* Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills

* Able to work independently and take full commercial responsibility for a live project

* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
