Project Manager

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in high-rise residential or accommodation schemes?

You will be responsible for the successful delivery of a significant high-rise accommodation scheme in Sunderland, overseeing the project from the current stage through to completion.

Start Date: January / February 2026

Contract Rate: £320 – £350 per day (CIS), dependent on experience.

Contract type: Temp to perm

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership: Managing and leading all aspects of the high-rise construction project, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Programme Management: Developing, maintaining, and driving the project programme and schedule.
Stakeholder Management: Coordinating and communicating effectively with architects, engineers, subcontractors, clients, and local authorities.
Budget Control: Managing project finances, monitoring costs, handling variations, and ensuring strict adherence to the budget.
HSE Compliance: Championing health, safety, and environmental excellence, ensuring strict compliance with all regulations and standards, particularly for high-rise buildings.
Quality Assurance: Implementing and overseeing quality control procedures to ensure a high-quality finished product.
Team Oversight: Managing on-site teams and specialist contractors.

Requirements:

Experience as a Project Manager on high-rise residential/accommodation construction projects (e.g., apartments, student accommodation).
Qualifications: A relevant qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
