We are working alongside one of our clients a contractor based in Oxford who believe in building more than just structures, build communities, opportunities, and a better future for everyone. As a Foreman, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality refurbishment and construction projects that create great spaces for people to live, work and visit.

What you’ll do

As part of their Building Projects team, you’ll take the lead on-site ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Your day-to-day will include:

* Working closely with Building Projects and Contracts Managers to plan resource requirements well in advance.

* Producing target programmes, preliminary and plant schedules.

* Coordinating staff, sub-contractors, suppliers, and others on site to maintain quality and meet deadlines.

* Schedule work to be carried out to ensure budget & production targets are achieved and high quality of product is maintained.

* Ensuring that all work is undertaken in accordance with all appropriate health and safety legislation, codes of practice and safety system.

* Complete all start up procedures regarding safety, site establishment, notices, dilapidations schedules, administrative support, equipment etc

About you

As a Foreman you will need proven record of delivering refurbishment and construction projects to a high standard. You’ll have:

* Strong leadership and organisational skills.

* Excellent communication and problem-solving ability.

* A proactive approach to health, safety, and quality management.

* The drive to deliver great spaces that make a difference to people and communities.
