One of the nicest Multi-Disciplinary Construction Consultancies in the region are looking to expand their Retro-fit team with two additional "Retrofit Assessors" based from their Exeter office. 

As a business they offer their clients a range of services – Project Management, Cost Management, Building Surveying, Compliance Services and Retro-fit. 

Their Retro-fit team has gone from strength to strength over the last 6 years, partnering with multiple Housing Associations and local Authorities across the region to support their housing stock upgrades. 

With the award of two new frameworks, their happy team is looking for two new "Retrofit Assessors". 

The role

Based from Exeter and reporting into the regional retrofit manager (lovely chap) your property assessments will provide the crucial first steps for their retrofit projects, establishing a foundation of information to enable their retrofit designers and co-ordinators to best decide which measures are appropriate for each property. Key duties will include: 
Conducting Full Property Surveys – insulation, ventilation, and heating systems to identify areas for improvement.
Evaluating Building’s Condition – overall condition of the buildings, from its structural integrity to issues like damp, mould, or other defects that could affect retrofitting efforts.
Evaluating Building’s Occupancy – how many people occupy the spaces and any special considerations needed in regards to this information. 
Providing Critical Data for Retrofit Designers: 
Considering Heritage and Architectural Constraints – For properties in conservation areas or with historical significance, consider architectural limitations and identify what can and can’t be altered without compromising the building’s character.
Reporting on Existing Installations – identify any energy efficiency measures that may have already been installed, ensuring that new upgrades complement existing systems.
Delivering Actionable Reports – prepare detailed reports outlining potential improvements, along with a condition surveys, EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) and occupancy assessments.  The right candidate

We are looking for candidates with the following experience and backgrounds: 

NVQ Level 3 City and Guilds Domestic Energy Assessor – Essential
NVQ level 3 Retrofit Assessor – Essential
Experience within a property environment – Retrofit, Estate Agency, Property Management
UK Licence
