Are you an experienced Lifting Equipment Engineer with a passion for delivering high-quality inspection, maintenance and testing services? Our client, a well-established independent hire business with a strong reputation across the South East, is looking for a skilled Area Lifting Engineer to join their growing team.

This is a mobile role carrying out inspections and repairs both in depot and on customer sites across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, maintain, test and repair a full range of lifting and manual handling equipment.

*

Conduct LOLER inspections and issue certifications in line with industry standards.

*

Carry out on-site inspections for customers across the South East.

*

Identify and report faults, damage, or equipment concerns promptly.

*

Maintain excellent customer service and uphold company standards while on-site or travelling.

Requirements:

*

LEEA Lifting Equipment General Diploma (or equivalent) – essential for conducting site inspections.

*

Proven experience in the inspection, testing and repair of manual lifting equipment.

*

Full UK driving licence (preferably clean).

*

Valid CSCS card.

*

Physically fit and comfortable performing manual handling tasks.

*

Confident using digital tools to complete and upload LOLER reports.

*

Strong communication skills and a professional approach.
