Site Delivery Officer
A client within the Public Sector based in Warwickshire is currently recruiting for a Site Delivery Officer to join their Place, Arts and Economy team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full-time, temporary position on an ongoing basis, with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority planning or infrastructure delivery environment.
 The Role
 The key purpose of the role is to ensure high-quality development and timely infrastructure delivery across major development sites by working collaboratively with developers, infrastructure providers, and internal teams.
 Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
 • Negotiating with developers and landowners to ensure coordinated on-site and off-site infrastructure delivery.
 • Monitoring Section 106 agreements and CIL contributions to ensure compliance, timely payments, and delivery of infrastructure.
 • Working with infrastructure providers to justify, phase, and cost requirements for development proposals.
 • Supporting Development Management officers in negotiating planning contributions for major sites.
 • Coordinating council interests across departments and monitoring project agreements.
 • Contributing to the Infrastructure Delivery Plan and monitoring funding opportunities.
 The Candidate
 To be considered for this role you will require:
 • A degree or equivalent qualification.
 • Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI) or equivalent professional qualification.
 • Proven experience in the planning and delivery of major development sites.
 The below skills would be beneficial for the role:
 • Strong understanding of Section 106 and CIL legislation and the planning system.
 • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
 • Proficiency in using complex spreadsheets and data to inform decisions.
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such is offering £28 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35 (approx. £21 per hour PAYE).
