Cost Planner – East London

We’re currently working with a well-established developer in East London who are seeking an experienced Cost Planner to join their pre-construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in large-scale mixed-use residential projects.

The Role

As a Cost Planner, you’ll be responsible for managing and developing accurate cost plans from early feasibility through to detailed design. You’ll work closely with design, development, and delivery teams to ensure projects remain commercially viable and aligned with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing detailed and accurate cost plans for large residential and mixed-use schemes

*

Supporting feasibility studies, budget estimating, and tendering processes

*

Providing cost advice and value engineering input throughout pre-construction

*

Liaising with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure cost efficiency

*

Producing reports and presenting findings to senior stakeholders

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Cost Planner / Estimator with a recognised developer, contractor, or consultancy

*

Strong understanding of mixed-use residential developments

*

Excellent commercial and analytical skills

*

Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar
