Quantity Surveyor – RC Frame/Gwks

The Opportunity
I’m working with a well-established RC Frame/Groundworks contractor who are looking to bring in an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This role offers the chance to work on projects valued up to £10 million, reporting directly into Director level with genuine opportunities for career progression and development.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing all commercial aspects of projects from procurement through to final account, working closely with site teams and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

* Full commercial management of RC Frame / Groundworks projects up to £10m.

* Preparing and managing valuations, variations, and final accounts.

* Cost reporting and forecasting to maintain financial control.

* Procurement of subcontractors and materials.

* Liaising with operational teams, clients, and directors to ensure smooth project delivery.

Requirements

* Minimum 5 years’ experience in RC Frame and/or Groundworks.

* Strong commercial awareness and knowledge of subcontract management.

* Experience on projects ranging up to £10 million.

* Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar discipline.

* Ambitious, career-driven, and able to work autonomously.
