About the Role – Project Manager (Birmingham)
As Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality commercial fit-out projects across Birmingham and the wider Midlands region. Working closely with clients, design teams, and site personnel, you’ll take full ownership of projects from pre-start through to handover.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing the full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery to agreed time, cost, and quality targets.

Leading site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain a safe, efficient, and collaborative working environment.

*

Acting as the main client contact throughout delivery, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring expectations are met.

*

Monitoring progress, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful completion.

*

Producing and maintaining project documentation including programmes, reports, and risk registers.

*

Ensuring compliance with company procedures, health & safety legislation, and industry best practice.

*

Driving excellence through proactive problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

*

Proven experience managing commercial fit-out or refurbishment projects, ideally within a design-and-build environment.

*

Strong technical knowledge of construction processes, M&E coordination, and interiors detailing.

*

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate site teams and engage with clients.

*

Strong financial and contractual understanding — comfortable managing budgets, procurement, and change control.

*

Knowledge of health and safety legislation and experience enforcing best practice on site.

*

Proficiency in project planning and reporting tools.

*

Self-motivated, organised, and able to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

*

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across the Midlands
