The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Head of Maintenance to lead their maintenance and facilities operations. This is a pivotal leadership role within the business, responsible for driving efficiency, quality, and service excellence across a diverse and expanding property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop the maintenance team to ensure a proactive, high-quality service across all managed properties.

Oversee planned and reactive maintenance programmes, ensuring compliance with statutory and safety regulations.

*

Manage budgets, contractors, and service-level agreements to deliver cost-effective solutions without compromising standards.

Collaborate closely with property management and construction teams to align maintenance strategy with broader business objectives.

*

Implement systems and processes that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

*

Report on performance metrics, compliance, and asset condition to senior leadership.

About You:

Proven experience in a senior maintenance or facilities management role, ideally within the property or housing sector.

*

Strong leadership and team management skills with a hands-on, solutions-driven approach.

*

Excellent understanding of health & safety, compliance, and building regulations.

*

Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and supplier relationships.

*

Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
