The Opportunity
Due to continued growth within their construction and refurbishment division, our client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a friendly and dynamic environment, contributing to a diverse portfolio of residential and mixed-use projects across London.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation for new and ongoing projects
*
Manage project costs from inception to completion, ensuring financial efficiency and profitability
*
Conduct regular site visits, valuations, and cost reporting
*
Liaise closely with contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery
*
Negotiate and manage sub-contractor contracts and variations
*
Provide accurate financial forecasts and support project planning and procurement processes
About You
*
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
*
Proven experience within residential or mixed-use construction projects
*
Strong knowledge of cost control, tendering, and contract administration
*
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
*
Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
*
MRICS qualification (or working towards it) desirable
