Design Coordinator / Design Manager

Hill & Hill Recruitment Ltd

Technical design is one of the most critical and riskiest aspects of construction, which is why it is being pushed down the supply chain to specialist subcontractors.

Our client, a leading drylining contractor delivering cutting-edge Design & Build projects with full BIM integration, collaborates with top design consultants to transform ambitious concepts into reality.

With demand growing and a clear vision for the future, they’re bringing design expertise in-house and are searching for a talented Design Coordinator / Design Manager to help make it happen.

Having recently secured a prestigious £10M drylining and ceiling fit-out project in Oxford (D&B, BIM), they’re looking for a Design Coordinator / Design Manager ready to step up from technical drawing into a strategic design management role. They are looking for someone who can take ownership of the design process, coordinate consultants and site teams, and ultimately help shape the design department from the ground up.

This is your chance to embed yourself within a forward-thinking drylining business, lead on a flagship drylining project, and play a pivotal role in developing a design function that will set new standards in the industry.

As a Design Coordinator / Design Manager, you’ll oversee all design aspects of the Oxford drylining and ceiling fit-out scheme, ensuring technical excellence, seamless coordination, and innovative solutions at every stage. You’ll also work closely with directors to bring design in-house, setting up processes, standards, and strategy that will define the future of their design offering.
