Experienced Groundworks Supervisor – Civils & Infrastructure (Friston Power Plant Project)

An accomplished Groundworks Supervisor with extensive experience in civils and infrastructure works, currently supervising large-scale operations on the Friston Power Plant project. Skilled in managing complex groundworks packages including excavations, drainage, ducting, foundations, utilities installation, and concrete works within high-spec energy and infrastructure environments.

Proven ability to lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and maintain productivity while ensuring strict compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. Experienced in liaising with engineers, clients, and project management to achieve milestones on schedule and to specification.

Key Responsibilities & Experience

* Supervising all groundwork and civils activities on the Friston Power Plant site

* Managing site crews, subcontractors, and daily operations in line with project plans

* Overseeing drainage, ducting, foundations, and reinforced concrete works

* Ensuring compliance with HSEQ regulations, RAMS, and company policies

* Conducting daily briefings, site inspections, and progress reporting

* Coordinating with engineers to interpret technical drawings and solve on-site challenges

* Maintaining high standards of workmanship and productivity under tight deadlines
