Assistant Project Manager

The Role

As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll support the delivery of a range of construction and property projects across the public and private sectors. You’ll work closely with experienced Project Managers, gaining hands-on exposure to all stages of project delivery — from feasibility through to completion. This role offers excellent progression opportunities, with structured career development and support towards professional accreditation.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the planning and delivery of multiple construction and property projects from inception to completion

*

Support client engagement, ensuring effective communication and project updates

*

Coordinate consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to maintain programme and quality standards

*

Monitor budgets, timescales, and deliverables in line with project objectives

*

Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external audiences

*

Contribute to a positive team culture and a proactive approach to problem-solving

About You

*

Degree qualified in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline

*

Ideally working towards (or interested in) professional accreditation such as APM, RICS, or CIOB

*

Experience in the built environment sector (public or private) is desirable

*

Strong communication and organisational skills, with an eye for detail

*

A team player with the confidence to take initiative and a desire to progress
