Assistant Site Manager
Our client is a highly respected main contractor with a strong track record delivering complex, high-quality projects across the healthcare, education, and commercial sectors. With a focus on innovation, safety, and sustainability, they are now seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join their growing team on a flagship healthcare project in Southampton.
The Role
Reporting to the Site Manager and Project Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management and delivery of the project, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the Site Manager in overseeing daily site operations.
*
Coordinate trades and subcontractors to maintain programme and quality targets.
*
Monitor health & safety compliance and promote best practices on site.
*
Conduct site inductions, tool box talks, and maintain accurate site records.
*
Assist with managing materials, logistics, and site documentation.
*
Liaise with clients, design teams, and senior management as required.
About You
*
Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager or Site Supervisor, ideally within the healthcare or public sector.
*
Strong knowledge of site operations, H&S, and quality management.
*
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
*
Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid.
*
A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks.
