Overview

We’re looking for a pragmatic Site Manager to run day-to-day operations on civils and groundworks projects. You’ll focus on safe delivery, programme control and efficient site operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Leadership: Manage all on-site activities, ensuring safe and compliant operations across the site team and subcontractors.
• Programme & Resource Management: Deliver daily, weekly and milestone programmes; coordinate plant, labour and materials to achieve targets.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Maintain site HSEQ standards, run toolbox talks, and ensure SMSTS/SSSTS requirements are enforced.
• Quality Control: Carry out inspections to ensure works meet specifications and deliver high-quality handover documentation.
• Subcontractor Coordination: Supervise subcontractors, manage site interfaces and ensure contractual and programme obligations are met.
 • Reporting: Provide regular site reports, progress photos and support the commercial team with site measurements and valuations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in civils, groundworks or infrastructure projects.
• CSCS (or equivalent) and SMSTS preferred.
• Strong knowledge of site plant, temporary works and civils construction techniques.
 • Excellent communication, organisation and people-management skills.

Location & Travel

Local and regional projects; some travel to neighbouring sites may be required.
