A forward-thinking independent consultancy with a strong national presence is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its dynamic team in Birmingham. With an expanding portfolio of commercial, residential and mixed-use developments, this is an ideal opportunity for a Senior Project Manager who thrives in a client-facing role and enjoys working across a variety of project types and sectors.

The successful Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading the delivery of high-value construction projects from feasibility through to completion. Acting as a key point of contact for clients, the Senior Project Manager will manage programmes, budgets and teams to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard, on time and within scope.

The Senior Project Manager's role

The Senior Project Manager will oversee a wide range of project responsibilities including writing client briefs, managing design and consultant teams, administering contracts, and reporting on progress. Projects typically range between £10m-£100m and span sectors such as commercial offices, residential, education and logistics.

This is a key leadership role for a Senior Project Manager with strong communication skills, commercial acumen and experience managing multiple stakeholders across complex programmes.

The Senior Project Manager

Degree in Project Management, Construction, Quantity Surveying or a related field

Chartered or working towards MRICS, MCIOB or MAPM

Minimum 5 years' experience in a consultancy project management environment

Proven ability to deliver commercial or mixed-use projects from inception to completion

Strong understanding of JCT and/or NEC contracts
