General Foreman

We’re representing a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering a range of infrastructure and highways projects across the North West. They are currently seeking an experienced General Foreman to join the team on a Section 278 highways scheme in Preston.

The Role

As General Foreman, you’ll take day-to-day responsibility for site supervision, coordinating operatives and subcontractors, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification. You’ll work closely with the site engineer and project manager to maintain quality and progress across all aspects of the scheme.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a General Foreman on civil engineering projects

*

Strong understanding of 278 works, highways, and groundworks

*

Excellent knowledge of site health & safety and quality standards

*

CSCS card essential; SSSTS or SMSTS advantageous

*

Full UK driving licence
