Section Engineer

Section / Senior Engineer – Suffolk (Leiston Area)
(Must be located within approximately 1–1.25 hours’ commute)

We’re looking for an experienced Section or Senior Engineer to join a major infrastructure project in Suffolk, delivering complex road and civil engineering schemes.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of key site activities on a high-value project, working with a respected main contractor on the successful delivery of critical infrastructure.

What you’ll be doing:

Overseeing engineering aspects of large infrastructure and roadworks projects

*

Managing and mentoring site engineers and subcontractors

*

Carrying out setting out and ensuring technical accuracy across all works

*

Supporting planning, quality assurance, and health & safety compliance

*

Liaising with design teams, site management, and clients to maintain smooth project delivery

What we’re looking for:

*

Proven experience as a Section or Senior Engineer on civil infrastructure projects

*

Strong background in setting out and site management

*

Solid understanding of highways and large-scale earthworks

*

Ability to manage workloads and deliver to deadlines

*

CSCS card and relevant engineering qualifications

Location:
You must be based within 1 to 1.25 hours’ travel of the Leiston area.
