Site Engineer – Utilities Diversion Project
We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer to support a major utilities diversion project, involving the relocation and protection of underground services across a complex infrastructure site. The successful candidate will play a key role in setting out, surveying, and ensuring quality assurance across civil and mechanical works. You'll collaborate closely with construction and utility teams to deliver accurate data, implement safe systems of work, and ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:

Set out line/level information from PDF, CSV, and CAD formats
Calculate and record volumes, offsets, and gradients
Conduct topographical surveys and capture as-built data
Support ITP production and adherence
Prepare task briefings and implement SSOW
Analyse drawings, detect clashes, and raise TQs
Perform inspections on protection slabs, reinstatement works, and chambers
Use Cat & Genny for underground service detectionEssential Requirements:

Experience with GPS and utilities diversion methods
CSCS Gold Card (or above)
AutoCAD proficiency
Basic MS Office skills
Strong time management and communication
Full UK driving licenceThis is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a nationally significant utilities infrastructure programme.
