Job Title: Site Engineer – Water Treatment Project

Location: Carlisle, Cumbria

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Start Date: Monday 17th November

Rate: £300 – £400 per day (DOE)

Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a water treatment project in Carlisle. This is a 12-month contract with an immediate start for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting out, levelling, and surveying the site

*

Managing technical aspects of the works to meet project specifications and deadlines

*

Assisting with quality assurance and ensuring compliance with H&S requirements

*

Coordinating with project management, subcontractors, and design teams

*

Maintaining accurate site records and documentation

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Site Engineer within the water or civil engineering sector

*

Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/D or degree)

*

CSCS card (essential)

*

SSSTS/SMSTS and First Aid desirable

*

Strong understanding of setting out, QA procedures, and technical drawings
