Contracts Engineer
Location: Avonmouth

Salary: £48,000 – £58,000 + Excellent Benefits
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, who is seeking an experienced Contracts Engineer to join their Avonmouth Division.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, the Contracts Engineer will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and management of installation, maintenance, testing, and removal of services across multiple projects.
This is a full-time, directly employed role based at the company's Avonmouth office, requiring strong leadership and organisational skills, along with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all projects under your supervision, ensuring delivery within budget and on schedule.
Manage daily allocation of labour, materials, and plant resources.
Prepare, issue, and revise Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
Implement and maintain the company's safe systems of work.
Conduct site audits, inspections, and client meetings.
Monitor installation standards and performance across projects.
Ensure works are carried out in line with company procedures and client requirements.
Support and manage operatives, sub-contractors, and apprentices on-site.
Identify training needs and support the development of team members.
Qualifications & Experience
City & Guilds in Electrical Installation / NVQ Level 3 (Essential)
City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (Desirable)
Site Management Safety Training (SSSTS) or equivalent (Essential)
Several years' experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role (Essential)
Strong understanding of health & safety and quality control procedures
