As part of this ongoing expansion, they are now seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team, overseeing projects across Essex and the surrounding regions.
The Role:
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of construction activities on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality. Working closely with project and commercial teams, you will coordinate subcontractors, manage logistics, and ensure compliance with design, specification, and health and safety requirements. Responsibilities:
• Manage all site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project programmes.
• Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and logistics to maintain progress and quality standards.
• Monitor workmanship and compliance with design drawings, specifications, and company procedures.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and successful project delivery.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Proven experience managing construction sites for a main contractor.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate teams effectively.
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations and site management procedures.
• Good understanding of construction sequencing, quality control, and project reporting.
• Based within a commutable distance of Maldon, Essex, with flexibility to travel as required.
