Building Maintenance Technician – Mechanical

Location: Newcastle (NE38)
Hours: Monday to Friday 9.30am – 6pm
Pay: £20.00ph paid weekly via umbrella
Duration: Ongoing Contract – Long Term
  
Responsibilities

Ensure that all day-to-day planned preventative maintenance are completed in line with our contractual obligations.
Ensure all plant and equipment are maintained in accordance with the O&M manuals, best practice and relevant guidelines/legislation.
Assist in supervising subcontractors and monitor SSOW, policies and procedures.
Respond to all reactive calls in line with our contractual time scales, complete job sheets, reports and documentation as required.
Work safely at all times in accordance with SSOW, policies and procedures.
Professional approach and image must be adhered to at all times.
Keep all plant/rooms / services enclosures clean, tidy safe and secure.
Undertake any ad-hoc duties that may be necessary during the course of your working shift.   
Qualifications

Completion of a recognized engineering apprenticeship.
A suitable City & Guilds, BTEC, NVQ 3 or equivalent.
3 years post apprenticeship experience preferably in an office environment.
The post holder will have an obligation to undertake where necessary training to ensure the level of competency is up held.
Previous experience of mechanical and or multi-disciplined maintenance, including DHW, LTHW, and Ventilation Systems.
Must have experience and competence in relevant Health & Safety legislation
