We are seeking a skilled Building Surveyor to join a housing association in Walsall. This temporary position involves working on construction-related tasks, ensuring compliance and quality standards are met.

Description
Conduct building surveys and inspections to assess conditions and compliance.
Prepare detailed reports and recommendations on property maintenance and repairs.
S11 inspections and report writing.
Oversee construction projects to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to ensure timely project completion.
Identify and resolve building issues or defects effectively.
Provide technical advice on construction materials and methods.
Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and legislation in the not-for-profit sector.Profile
A successful Building Surveyor should have:
Relevant qualifications in building surveying or a related field.
Experience in conducting building surveys and inspections.
Knowledge of construction industry standards and regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
