Job Title: Design Manager

Location: Heavily Hybrid/Remote

Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 per annum

Our Client: Our client is seeking an experienced Design Manager to join their dynamic team, delivering high-profile façade projects across the UK. They specialise in Re-Cladding and façade refurbishment on projects of varying scale, offering an innovative, collaborative environment for professionals looking to make an impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the design process for façade projects, ensuring compliance with project brief, budget, and programme.

*

Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver high-quality Re-Cladding solutions.

*

Oversee design teams, including coordination with consultants and sub-contractors.

*

Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and calculations.

*

Ensure design compliance with building regulations, fire safety, and quality standards.

*

Manage risk and proactively resolve design-related challenges on projects up to £24m.

*

Mentor and develop junior team members to maintain high design standards.

Essential Experience & Skills:

*

Proven experience as a Design Manager within façade projects, specifically Re-Cladding.

*

Strong knowledge of façade systems, materials, and construction methodologies.

*

Experience managing projects up to £24m in value.

*

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

*

Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
