Your new role
You will be the assistant health and safety advisor, supporting the health and safety manager to ensure a safe and compliant environment across all operations. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone that is looking to kick-start and develop their career in health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the implementation and monitoring of health and safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments
Support the Health and Safety Manager in conducting site inspections, audits, and investigations
Help maintain accurate records of incidents, near misses, and safety-related documentation
Coordinate and deliver basic health and safety inductions and toolbox talks
Assist in ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation and best practices
Contribute to the development of safety awareness campaigns and training materials
Liaise with internal departments and external contractors to promote a culture of safety
Provide administrative support including report writing, data entry, and document controlWhat you'll need to succeed

NEBOSH general or wanting to work towards NEBOSH general.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
