Site Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major civil engineering contractor on a Park and Ride scheme in Watford. This is a 5-month contract with an immediate start available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting out, levelling, and surveying the site

*

Ensuring works are carried out in line with design drawings and specifications

*

Overseeing subcontractors and ensuring work meets quality and safety standards

*

Supporting site management and reporting on progress

*

Maintaining accurate site records, QA checks, and as-built information

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Site Engineer on civil infrastructure projects (preferably highways, drainage)

*

Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/D or degree)

*

CSCS card (essential)

*

SSSTS/SMSTS and First Aid beneficial

*

Strong understanding of setting out equipment and quality control procedures
