Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor in London to join a £150m residential project, taking full commercial responsibility and leading the project team.

Job Description:

Lead the commercial strategy as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a high-value residential project in London.

Manage subcontractors, including tender preparation, selection, negotiation, and Final Account completion.

Prepare and present forecasts, targets, CV reconciliations, valuations, variations, and Final Accounts.

Maintain site records, document control, risk/opportunity plans, insurance, and warranties.

Manage and mentor junior commercial staff, supporting both site and pre-construction teams on tenders and 2-stage tenders.

Skills / Qualifications:

Proven commercial appreciation with experience in large-scale residential projects in London.

Knowledge of CVR, adjudication/dispute resolution, and contract/legal appreciation.

Leadership and delegation skills with the ability to manage people and situations sensitively and commercially.

Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Commercially astute, inventive, and able to influence and challenge teams effectively.
