Due to a number of exciting new project awards within our client’s thriving education team, we are seeking a talented Project Architect to join a well-established, award-winning architectural practice with a strong reputation for delivering innovative and inspiring design solutions across the UK.
Our client is recognised for its collaborative culture, commitment to design quality, and long-standing expertise within the education sector — particularly the design and delivery of schools and learning environments that positively impact communities.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in leading the design and delivery of education projects through all RIBA stages. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated architect who enjoys taking ownership, managing client relationships, and delivering high-quality work from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead education projects from initial design through to completion.
Ensure all designs meet statutory and regulatory requirements.
Liaise directly with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Manage project teams and coordinate work effectively across disciplines.
Represent the practice in client and design team meetings.
Key Requirements:
Minimum of five years’ post-qualification experience.
Proven ability to design in accordance with statutory design requirements.
Strong experience within the education sector, particularly school design and delivery.
Working knowledge of DfE guidelines and procedures.
Excellent Revit and AutoCAD skills.
Strong communication, leadership, and presentation abilities.
A proven portfolio demonstrating high-quality, built work.
