This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Estimator to join a respected, long-established contractor specialising in high-end carpentry, joinery, and fit-out projects across the UK. Do you have a couple of years' experience as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor?
Are you confident reading drawings and preparing accurate costings? Do you want to progress to Senior Estimator level within a supportive, close-knit team?

In this role, you will support the estimating team in pricing and tendering a range of joinery and fit-out projects. You will be responsible for reviewing drawings, preparing take-offs, liaising with clients and suppliers, and supporting tender submissions. This position offers a clear pathway to develop your technical skills and progress within a highly experienced team.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, confident working with numbers, and eager to learn. Experience in joinery, fit out, or carpentry would be advantageous, but above all, you'll bring enthusiasm, reliability, and a proactive approach.

The Role:
Assist with pricing and tendering across carpentry, joinery, and fit-out projects
Review drawings, prepare take-offs, and compile bills of quantities
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate costings
Attend client meetings and occasional site visits
Contribute to progress meetings and tender reports
Support senior estimators and develop towards managing tenders independently
The Person:
Experience as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor
Strong Excel and measurement skills
Confident reading and interpreting drawings
Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
Ambitious, friendly, and eager to progress within a small, collaborative team
