Senior Project Planner
Location: Devon / Cornwall

Are you an experienced Senior Project Planner seeking a new challenge in the South West?
RGB Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with a leading Civil Engineering Main Contractor who are delivering a diverse range of projects across Devon and Cornwall.

As the successful Senior Planner, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing project programmes to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You’ll work collaboratively with estimators, engineers, surveyors, and design teams to plan and monitor project progress, identify risks, and manage priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage detailed project programmes using Asta Powerproject and Microsoft Project
Oversee logistics, allocate resources, and monitor budgets
Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals
Analyse and interpret drawings and technical information to support effective planning
Lead collaborative planning sessions and reporting processes
Ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices
Requirements:

Degree / HNC / HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline
Proven experience in the civil engineering, highways, or earthworks sectors
Proficient with Asta Powerproject, Microsoft Project, and associated planning tools
Experience with Primavera P6 desirable
Strong understanding of estimating, scheduling, programming, and risk management
Excellent communication and organisational skills
