This is a standout role for any Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work for an excellent company within a static, commercial property in North London. This role offers an excellent package and the opportunity to progress technically.
For this role, you will follow a split shift role, (36 hour working week), Monday – Friday.
You will be part of the M&E engineering team, carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems, actively fault find / troubleshoot, carry out in depth engineering works, update site logbooks, respond to emergencies and ensure compliance is carried out.
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Duties:
PPMs & Reactive maintenance
Statutory Compliance
Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, BMS Operation
Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
Organising subcontractors
Completing logbooks and RAMS
Reports
Permits to work
Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary.
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
City and Guilds / NVQ (Or equivalent) qualifications in a mechanical related subject
At least 5 years experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer within a commercial environment
Able to work well as part of a team and individually
Strong mechanical and electrical systems knowledge
Apprentice trained – Desirable
Salary and Package:
£48,000 – £53,000
Package includes private pension scheme of up to 21%, annual bonuses and additional training
Monday – Friday, 36 hour working week
