Site Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a Section 278 works project in Peterborough. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile highways scheme, with a strong likelihood of further work following successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting out for highways, drainage, and associated 278 works.

*

Producing and checking as-builts, QA records, and site documentation.

*

Working closely with the site management team to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.

*

Liaising with subcontractors and ensuring compliance with drawings and design information.

*

Maintaining accurate site records and assisting with progress reporting.

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Site Engineer on 278 or highways schemes.

*

Proficient in use of GPS / Total Station equipment.

*

Strong understanding of civil engineering drawings and specifications.

*

SMSTS or SSSTS and CSCS card.

*

Full UK driving licence.
