Planner – Utilities/Gas/Comms – Euston

Construction Planner – Water / Gas / Comms (Contract)
Central London | £450-£550 per day (Umbrella PAYE)

We're recruiting for a Construction Planner to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering long-term infrastructure works across the water, gas and communications sectors. This is a contract role based full-time in Central London, working closely with operational and delivery teams on-site and in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain project programmes using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.

Work directly with delivery teams to ensure accurate progress reporting and forecasting.

Coordinate with engineers, commercial teams, and project managers to monitor progress and identify risks or delays.

Produce lookaheads, resource histograms and progress updates for senior management and clients.

Support the preparation of reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Planner in the utilities sector (water, gas, and/or comms essential).

Solid background in site-based planning and working closely with delivery teams.

Strong understanding of civils and infrastructure construction methodologies.

Proficient in Primavera P6 (preferred) or MS Project.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Additional Information:

Contract: Long-term assignment

Rate: £450-£550 per day (Umbrella PAYE only)

Location: Central London (office-based, 5 days per week)
