Are you an experienced Project Manager looking to take the lead on major, high-voltage infrastructure projects across London?

Our client is delivering some of the most technically complex and high-value energy projects in the region, and they’re now seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their Major Projects & Connections division.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a proven background in HV/EHV cable delivery to take responsibility for the design and build of 132kV cable circuits, leading projects typically valued at £10 million+ from concept through to commissioning.

The Role
You’ll take full ownership of major cable infrastructure projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading end-to-end delivery of 132kV cable projects, from design through to commissioning.
Managing programme, budget, safety, scope, and quality across complex projects.
Acting as the key point of contact for clients and stakeholders across London.
Coordinating internal teams, subcontractors, and the wider supply chain.
Ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and NEC contract requirements.
Identifying and managing commercial, technical, and programme risks.
Providing mentorship and guidance to junior project managers and engineers. About You
You’ll be a commercially aware and technically capable Senior Project Manager with experience in the power or utilities sector.

We’re looking for someone who can combine deep technical understanding with strong leadership and communication skills.

You’ll bring:

Proven experience delivering 132kV cable projects (66kV or 33kV also considered).
A track record of managing projects valued at £10m or more.
Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts and CDM regulations.
Experience collaborating with local authorities and managing subcontractors.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
A degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
PMP or equivalent project management qualification (advantageous).
Proficiency with project management software and reporting tools. Why Apply?
